Bobble Bloggin

My name is Richard Lawrence, and I am a communication student at Kennesaw State University. The class that I am in teaches us to write and develop projects that can help us in our journalism future. The project that we are working on is about a product that in my case already exists. I chose to focus on the Bobble. The Bobble is a bottle that has a filter built into the top of the bottle. Most of the water that we drink is filtered before it is placed in the bottles but this Bobble is able to put unfiltered water in the bottle and filter it through the top. This is a great product for many reasons, for start the bottles that most people use are made with bad plastics and are only used one time, and then thrown away after one use. With the Bobble, the bottle is made with recycled plastics, BPA free, and is used for drinking multiple times. Another reason for not using the plastics from non reusable bottles that can only be used once is because the plastics break down and the consumer ends up drinking unhealthy chemicals.

The project called for the use of a commercial for the Bobble and a PSA that can help sell the Bobble. Because I haven’t seen any commercials for the Bobble I had to envision something that I think would help sell the product. I see the Bobble as a family used bottle, mom's that want their kids to drink healthier and not to drink juices and sodas filled with sugars. That's where the Bobble can thrive, because the Bobble is a cool looking bottle that is can help the world I think the product can excel. The PSA is exactly what the Bobble is made for. PSA's are commercials that discuses what the product is good for and how it can help the world. The Bobble is made so that we can stop using so much plastics and do not have to filter our water before we put it in the bottle. The filter at the top of the Bobble allows the water to come straight from the tap and ready for consumption. For other points that can help the bobble is the fact that millions of tons of oil is used every year to make these plastic bottles of water and with the oil crises we need all that we can get.

In all the Bobble is the product of the future that can change the plastic industry and help save the world that we are killing our selfs. We need products like the Bobble and hopefully other companies will start using the Bobble or something similar to it. The world is the only one that we have and we need to do everything that we can to keep it as great as we can keep it.
